62′ Van der Valk 2019 – Lucy Penguin
LUCY PENGUIN, a 2019 62-foot Van der Valk,
was crowned Most Innovative Yacht in her category
as part of the World Yachts Trophies in 2019. This
is seen in her remarkable amount of interior and exterior
space due to the clever location of the engine room, which
is found below the swim platform. You’ll find various
comfortable places to relax and take in the views, whether
it’s the foredeck entertainment area, the spacious upper
deck lounge, or the expansive swim platform beach club.
This 62-foot yacht brings the outside world in through
an enhanced panoramic view from the two lounges and
the master suite. There are also various glass inserts in the
hull, giving an additional air of class to an exterior profile
which exudes modern elegance. Belowdecks, you will find a
sophisticated salon area with dining. There is plush seating
to port and barrel chairs to starboard. Walking straight
down the companionway leads you to twin staterooms to
port and starboard and the master stateroom forward. The
master has an ensuite head, and the twin staterooms have a
shared head.
Head up the stairs in the main salon to the helm station
and a large U-shaped seating area for maximum enjoyment
while underway. This Beach Club 600 yacht was built to
U.S. spec, is duty paid, and was kept in the freshwaters of
Lake Michigan until October 2022, when she was brought
down to South Florida for a season. Also in 2022, she was
outfitted with new interior carpet, a Freedom Lift hydraulic
tender lift, foredeck beverage cooler, and electric grill.
She received a full Sonos/JL Audio sound system and 5G
cellular Internet system in 2023-24, when she returned
to Grand Haven, Michigan. She is currently available for
showings in the Great Lakes.
